Why?

People often ask me; "Why do I eat the way that I eat, Why do I train the way that I train, and How are you so damned disciplined?"

The answer: I WANT RESULTS!!!

I strive for constant improvement and the ultimate athletic performance. I don’t do this for losing weight, being thin, or looks, which of course are all valid goals and inevitable outcomes. I do it because, I love to push myself to the limit and consistently raise my personal bar. I am a Crossfitter, a "Fire Breather" and I am gunning for that number one spot.

Nutrition is by far the single most over looked aspect in a person's training program. You can literally train all day and never achieve optimal results. It is imperative that you create a plan of action, follow those steps, find balance in your nutrition, and therefore giving you the opportunity to execute your goal. There are many diets out there that work and it is up to you to find out which will best suit you and your goals. In the crossfit community the standard to follow is the zone or the paleo diet. I think that if you make a solid effort to change how you currently eat and take it step by step you will see vast improvements. If you want to seriously take it to the next level enter the zone. Personally, I use the zone. Although I am nowhere near perfect on my zone, I make an honest effort and have seen solid results.

When it comes to training the difference between Crossfitter and bodybuilders is that we are functional and can flat out perform. We thrive on being athletes not just muscle bound gym rats. I want to be doing what I do today ten, twenty, or even thirty years from now. I am an athlete for life!

So, go ahead and ask me again. . . Why do I do this?

I do it because, I am passionate!

When was the last time that you were so damn passionate about something? Something that would drive you to do whatever it takes to achieve the success, the thrill, that feeling of accomplishment that you are striving for? (Take a minute and think about that let it sit and dwell, then read it again.)

Do you remember that excitement, that passion, that shear bliss that came out of your very being as a child; When you wanted something so badly and finally convinced your parents into saying yes? Do you remember that feeling of walking into the toy store for that special toy that became yours, because of your passion. (Not to mention your wicked sales skills and the fact that your parents are pretty much a sucker for the puppy eyes at times.) The point being this. . . Can you visualize & sensationalize that feeling?

I ask you to find that passion again and apply it to anything in your life! Just Be Passionate!

Thats what seperates the "man from the boys". Its that drive to succeed, which is present in most successful athletes. If it could be bottled and sold, we could make millions!
The passion shows...keep it up!
